Councillors, MPs, MSPs, MEPs
Write or email your local Councillor/MP/MSP/MEP to express concern at the decision to grant planning permission for a waste incinerator at Binn Farm (mention the health threat). Ask him/her to convey your concerns to Scottish Ministers (especially Andy Kerr and Ross Finnie).
Tayside Health Board
Dr. Jerry Thompson of the British Society of Ecological Medicine advises that when an incinerator receives planning permission, approach your local Health Authority with your concerns about the possible health risks associated with incinerators.

Tayside NHS Board Members
(in particular Chairman Peter Bates
and Board Secretary Margaret Moulton)

Fife NHS Board Members

Members of Scottish Parliament (MSPs)
Please contact Scottish Ministers and express your opposition. Mention the health threat and the fact that the incinerator would breach the Scottish Executive National Waste Plan which requires “maximising resource efficiency and value recovery from wastes that are produced.” According to SEPA the Binn Farm incinerator would only 23% efficient, compared with over 60% if a Combined Heat & Power plant was built instead at Shore Road, Perth (for which planning permission already exists).
